  1. Strip it

    $100

    Iron decon and a strip wash pull the bonded contamination and any old wax off the clear coat. Skip this and the polish just drags grit across the panel.

  2. Fix it

    $200–$400

    Machine polishing removes the swirls and scratches that are actually in the paint. One stage handles most cars. Two stages is for heavier defects and dark paint, where everything shows.

  3. Keep it

    $300–$900

    A coating is the part that lasts. It bonds to the corrected paint so washing gets easier and the gloss holds instead of fading back over a season. Every paint coating package already includes the strip wash and decon, The 2 Year adds a 1 stage polish and The 5 Year a full 2 stage correction, so the package price is the whole price.
