What's different here
Leawood cars have their own problems.
There's a lot of dark German paint in Leawood, and dark paint is honest, it shows every swirl the last automatic wash put in it. That's why correction and ceramic come up more here than anywhere else I work. If your car looks fine in the garage and terrible in direct sun, that's swirl marks, and it's fixable.
The older streets toward State Line have serious tree cover. Sap and bird droppings are the recurring problem, and both etch clear coat if they sit through a hot week. A coating doesn't stop them landing, but it does mean they come off instead of leaving a mark.
Most Leawood neighborhoods are HOA-managed, which in practice means I keep the setup tidy and contained, no equipment sprawl across the street, no runoff down the block.

My HOA has rules about work vehicles. Is that a problem?
Almost never. I work out of one vehicle, park in your driveway rather than the street where I can, and I'm gone in a few hours. If your association needs a certificate of insurance on file, ask and I'll send one.
Is correction worth it on a leased car?
Usually not the full two-stage. A one-stage plus a one-year coating gets you most of the visual difference for a fraction of the cost, and it holds up fine over a typical lease. I'll tell you straight which one your paint actually needs.
