What's different here

Olathe cars have their own problems.

Olathe is still building, and new construction leaves a specific mark on vehicles. Concrete dust, drywall dust, and overspray settle on cars parked near active sites, and they're gritty, wiping them off dry is exactly how a car ends up covered in fine scratches. Those need to be lifted, not rubbed.

The upside is space. Newer Olathe subdivisions have wide, long driveways, which makes for the easiest setups I get anywhere. I can work all the way around a vehicle without anyone having to move a second car.

On the commuter side, K-7 and I-35 both mean real daily mileage. Bug season on those stretches is genuinely bad, and bugs are acidic, left on a hot hood through July they'll etch the clear coat within days.

Olathe questions

Asked and answered.

The general ones are on the main FAQ.

Is there a travel charge to Olathe?

No. Olathe is about 11 miles from home base, well inside the free 30-mile radius.

My car is parked near a construction site. Anything I should do before you come?

Don't wipe it. Dry-wiping construction dust is what puts scratches in the paint. Leave it, and I'll flood it off and decon it properly.
