Why here specifically
What coating is up against in Mission.
A garaged car gets a break from UV every night. A street parked one does not, and sustained sun is what fades and dulls clear coat over years. A coating carries some of that UV load instead of the paint, which matters far more on a car that lives outside twenty four hours a day than on one that only commutes.
Water spotting is the other constant. Cars parked outdoors through a wet week collect rain, then dry in the sun with whatever was in the water still on the panel. Coated paint sheds most of it before it can dry in place, and what does dry on lifts off rather than etching.
The honest counterweight, same as with correction here: a lot of Mission cars are older daily drivers, and a five year coating on a car worth a few thousand is hard to justify. The one year sprays exist for exactly that situation and they are a real product, not a downgrade.
Ceramic coating, priced
Every number before you commit.
- $100
Iron decon package
Chemical iron removal and strip wash. Required before any paint correction.
- $40
Ceramic coating, 3 to 6 month
Spray ceramic. Real gloss and easy washing for a season.
- $60
Ceramic coating, 1 year
Higher-solids formula. Better water behavior and depth.
- $300
Ceramic coating, 3 year
Professional-grade coating. Best paired with a correction first.
- $10 per wheel
Ceramic face wheel coating
The face of the wheel, coated in place. Brake dust stops bonding and rinses off for about a year.
- $200
Glass clean and coat
Every pane cleaned, then a hydrophobic coating on the windshield and front doors. Rain beads off at speed.
A sacrificial layer bonded to the clear coat so dirt releases instead of sticking. One year spray through five year professional grade, all priced on the menu. Build it on the correction and ceramic page, or start from the full menu if the car needs the inside doing too.
Is a coating worth it on an older car?
Sometimes, at the right tier. On a fifteen year old daily driver a five year coating is hard to justify, but a one year spray over a decon makes a genuine difference for a small number, and it can be repeated. I would rather sell you that twice than the wrong thing once.
Can you coat a car parked on the street?
Yes, though the car needs to stay dry for a few hours while the coating cures, so we plan around the forecast. If your only parking is exposed street, tell me when you book and I will pick a day that gives the coating a clean window.
