Paint correction in Mission

Mission is small, close in, and the cars here mostly live outside. That changes what correction is up against.

Why here specifically

What correction is up against in Mission.

The housing stock is older and the garages that came with it are narrow, so a lot of Mission cars are parked on the street or at the end of a short drive full time. Paint that never gets undercover ages differently. You get more UV fade on horizontal panels, more water spotting, and more contact damage down the sides from people getting past in tight spaces.

Because the lots are compact, my working footprint matters here more than anywhere. I can set up in a single car width and I do not need to be plugged into your house, but if your only option is street parking it is worth telling me when you book so I can plan the day around traffic rather than discovering it on arrival.

The honest note for Mission is that the value question is real. Plenty of cars here are older daily drivers where a full two stage costs a meaningful fraction of what the car is worth. I would rather talk you into a decon and a single stage that makes the car genuinely better than sell the bigger number.

Paint correction, priced

Every number before you commit.

  • Iron decon package

Chemical iron removal and strip wash. Required before any paint correction.

    $100
  • Prep and taping

Trim, badges, and edges masked before the machine touches the panel.

    $50
  • Paint correction, 1 stage

One cutting stage. Removes most swirls and light scratches.

    $200
  • Paint correction, 2 stage

Cut and refine. For heavier defects and dark paint.

    $400

Machine polishing that removes swirls, wash marks and light scratches instead of filling them in. Priced per stage, quoted before I start. Build it on the correction and ceramic page, or start from the full menu if the car needs the inside doing too.

Mission questions

Asked and answered.

More on the Mission page.

My car is street parked. Is correction pointless?

Not pointless, but be realistic about how long it holds. Correction removes what is there now. Without a coating or a garage, a street parked car in full sun will start collecting water spots and fresh marks within a few months. Pairing correction with a coating is what makes it last out here.

Do you need my driveway or my power?

Not your power, no. I carry my own, so I only need space to work around the car, and I'll ask about water when we book. In Mission that is usually the constraint worth mentioning up front, because a tight spot changes how I sequence the day.
