Paint correction in Shawnee
Shawnee is the one place where I spend as much time explaining what correction will not do as what it will.
About 12 miles from home base, inside the free 30-mile radius. No travel charge.

Why here specifically
What correction is up against in Shawnee.
The roads out toward the park and the older county stretches throw a lot of stone. That produces chips, and chips are the one defect polishing genuinely cannot touch. A chip is missing paint. Correction levels the clear coat around a defect, it does not add material back. I would rather say that before a booking than after one.
What does respond here is everything the tree cover causes. Shawnee has heavy canopy over a lot of streets, and that means sap, bird droppings and the leaf staining that comes from wet debris sitting on a horizontal panel through a rainy week. All three etch, and all three are correctable if they have not gone through the clear.
The terrain adds a small practical wrinkle. A meaningful number of Shawnee driveways are on a slope, which is fine for washing but not ideal for the hours of stationary machine work correction takes. If yours is steep, tell me and I will bring the setup to suit it rather than fight it.
Paint correction, priced
Every number before you commit.
- $100
Iron decon package
Chemical iron removal and strip wash. Required before any paint correction.
- $50
Prep and taping
Trim, badges, and edges masked before the machine touches the panel.
- $200
Paint correction, 1 stage
One cutting stage. Removes most swirls and light scratches.
- $400
Paint correction, 2 stage
Cut and refine. For heavier defects and dark paint.
Machine polishing that removes swirls, wash marks and light scratches instead of filling them in. Priced per stage, quoted before I start. Build it on the correction and ceramic page, or start from the full menu if the car needs the inside doing too.
Can you fix rock chips?
Not with correction, no. Polishing works on defects inside the clear coat, and a chip has gone through it. Chips are a touch up or a paint repair. Those fall under the quoted body work side rather than the detailing menu.
Will correction stop new chips?
No. Correction is cosmetic, not protective. If chip protection is the goal, that is paint protection film, and I do not install it. I will tell you that rather than sell you a coating and let you assume it does the same job.
